If you are at all interested, because of the uncertainty, you can leave it to the week before to fully commit to us and book flights, etc. Then you will be as sure as possible about any potential restrictions or quarantine etc.

Day 1: Arrive in Kefalonia. A short drive across the island with its vast variety of scenery takes us to the Erisos area in the North. Assemble bikes, and then a short spin to the beautiful cove at Acqua Alaties to loosen the legs. We pass through Fiscardo with its traditional buildings and bustling water front. ( 24km, 300m ascent )
Day 2: We head to the Paliki peninsula and the Kipouri Monastery with sheer 100m cliffs down to the sea. Then to Lixouri for lunch by the sea. The route back takes in the beautiful fishing harbour at Zola and spectacular views all the way back along the coast. ( 120km, 1800m ascent )
Day 3: The morning ride takes us across the Drogarati Bridge to Argostolli. Then we head to Marco Polo, Mt Enos looming ominously to our left and Zykinthos on the horizon. Finally the beach at Skala the spectacular gorge in Poros. We stay here for the night. ( 105km, 1250m ascent )
Day 4: You'll need your climbing legs on today! Through the trees to Agios Nikolaos, and upwards to the top of Mt Enos. The descent is beautiful, and then another climb home through the pretty village of Karia. ( 95km, 1900m ascent )
Day 5: We cycle to Dilinata, and through the vineyards of the Omala Valley. Then on to the Venetian fort at Kastro with it's panoramic views to Zykinthos. The road back hugs the coast in spectacular fashion, with a steep climb to Karia to round off the day. ( 116km, 2000m ascent )
Day 6: We take a boat over to Ithica, climb up to Stavros, and then the coast road to the capital Vathi. The views are breath-taking as usual. After lunch we drop down to Kioni, a tiny village nestling in the most beautiful steep sided cove. ( 75km,1800m ascent )
Day 7: The road skirts the coast to Sami, with Ionian Sea in constant company. Then it's a short climb to a medieval bell tower with panoramic views for lunch. After lunch we climb up through the centre of the island to Murtos beach, and descend through the lush woodland back to Fiscardo.
